    You're welcome.

Will you show us the doll undressed....front and back. You can't harm her in any way by removing the clothes.......- that might not have been hers to begin with......lol.

Thank you. She's a walker. Does her head turn when you move the legs?

I don't have a book on American Character dolls, and I can't decide from what I've seen on google, or from the books I have just what doll she is. She does look very much like Sweet Sue as Fig suggested, but as I said, other doll makers made them too. Some of the doll makers used the same face and call them different dolls.

I went through about 10 google pages, stopping at all that resembled your doll......

A few years back, when dolls were the big seller, doll shows were abundant. I have not heard of any being held lately.....a long time actually, but I'm pretty certain someone would've ID'd your doll for you, and might have had one just like it at the show.

I never collected this era doll, so I don't know the important details.

By undressing your doll, we do know she is a walker.

Have you peeled back the wig to see if there is a name?

HEYYY!! You're absolutely RIGHT! When you turn her head side-to-side, her legs do move in a walking motion! LOL! Never heard of a "walker" before... Interesting. As for her hair, I am afraid to pull back her hair as I don't want to damage her. So, from what I am seeing in the comments, she most likely a 1950s version...? Thanks again, Judy! :)

Yes, 50's era, give or take either way.

You can't do any damage by peeling back the wig. Try not to damage it, but no biggie if it tears slightly. I don't have a method for doing so, but google might.

Amusing to me that you turned the head to see the legs move.........(legs turn head)lol.
