I own this sword for 10 years but I have been unable to IDENTIFY the tang with a cut and no MARKS. The sword case has this symbol like the tree with 3 leafs.
    Is this old or who made.? IMG_20231006_152156_(600_x_600_pixel).jpg IMG_20231006_152740_(600_x_600_pixel).jpg IMG_20231006_152602_(600_x_600_pixel).jpg IMG_20231006_152306_(600_x_600_pixel).jpg IMG_20231006_152851_(600_x_600_pixel).jpg

The gouging in pic 4 makes my skin crawl!
My opinion is that the lack of any mark (aside from the mon in pic 5) rules out any significant age, or value for that matter.

Modern copy I am afraid. The family mon is a stylised version of the Tokugawa family mon, they were Shogun's from 1600 - 1868.
