Antique sofa identification help?

I’ve always admired antiques, but have never really sought them out or even bought many. Until now… I just HAD to have this piece and now I’m fascinated by learning more!

    I’ve been trying to research the style/era/etc but the internet is overwhelming, and contradictory lol

    I did not find any markings or upholstery tags to help in my search. The cushion is very heavy, and is filled with feathers.

    Any guidance on where/what to look for would be greatly appreciated! Mostly wanting to narrow down how old and what wood/materials it is made of so I can learn how to properly care for it.

    This style is still made for the Middle Eastern market. Id guess yours was from the 50s-60s based on the upholstery.

    Agree with a 50s-60s date. Some of the design elements are French but likely made in Italy. Nicer than some we see and the upholstery looks to be in great condition.
