Need help to identify this pipe

I have an beautiful estate pipe. I tried to identify the brand and trade mark from it but I only found limited information. Please check the attached photos. It would be appreciated if anyone could identify more information about this pipe.

I believe you have a vintage Peterson rusticated cherrywood pipe......

 

it may also be what's called ' a short army '..... and. could be briar ...instead of cherry.......

many sites say many things on the internet........ & while Dad smoked a pipe , I only dabbled on occasion.
