I bought these pieces at an estate sale of a pottery collector, all the other pieces went quite high but I got these pieces for $5. Made by Gerrit De Blanken, Dutch potter, they were made circa 1930s, excellent condition. He seems to be unheard of in the US, internet searches usually lead to pieces in museums, but none in the states. I did find a piece that sold on ebay for next to nothing. I'm wanting to sell these pieces, can anyone recommend a venue that would be good for these? I did contact one museum that had some of his pieces but they were not looking for more.

Some things garner a very good rep among their countrymen, (countrypeople?) but don't attract a lot of attention elsewhere. Niche markets, sort of. But these are quite lovely and perhaps more widely known in the studio pottery collectors.
