Featured Buffet? Not sure.

    Hi All! Just joined the group from Washington State, US.
    We just purchased this cabinet for $100 through FBMP. It is 8.6 feet wide, 5 feet tall and about 2 feet deep. It has a tiger oak look to it. All cabinets lock with no handles. Not sure what to call it - Buffet? There is one broken hinge and if anyone knows where to purchase a replacement, I would be very grateful! It looks to have had 2 shelves in each cabinet although none came with it. The picture I included shows the only markings I could find. Does anyone have any information on this item? Year, maker, etc...? I would appreciate any help.     Looks very 1990s American-made to me. I decorated my home in the late 90s with brand new oak (mostly veneer) furniture that looked very similar.

    Not antique, but using antique decorative motifs. 1990s sounds as reasonable as anything else.

    Ditto.
    I guess you could call it a French Provincial style cabinet, but recently made in the US. The way the 2 is written is not Continental European.
    Nice oak.

    Agree, late 20th century. This may not have been made in the US but, certainly, for a Western market. Would heve been expensive when new. Think you got a heck of a deal.

    Does anyone have a line on where I could possibly find a replacement hinge?

    I would suggest that you remove a good hinge and take a photo of it laying flat on a white sheet of paper, then do a google image search for it.

    Your hing is a paumelle type, or lift-off hinge. Searching the first term, I find many similar but not exact. My search was not exhaustive.
