Charles Schneider art glass. I think this is called 'blow out' glass. The shop musta missed the mark on the side, though 'France' is scratched into the bottom.

Thanks! It's not my personal style, but somebody'll like it. And I'm telling 'ya, urban hipster stores often do not know (or maybe, even care) what a certain kind of nice item looks like.

Schneider is pretty rare in the States so I see how that might get overlooked. It is a good find.

While I probably not seek something like this out, I would be all over that for my personal collection if the price was right.

Pickings have been pretty slim of late. Here are a couple thrift store bargains I did find ;)

This chairity thrift in a small town always prices everthing with an .09 on the end. Consequently, these Towle sterling weighted candlesticks were $2.09. These are in great condition other than needing a polishing. I only hit this shop once or twice a month and it is usually a bust, but I occasionally find some things. I don't know how long these were on the shelf but the store was packed and I saw at least 3 other shoppers not even give these a second glance.

This Acoma pot by Norma Jean Ortiz was $3.00 at the Goodwill. Surprised it slipped through their sorting since it is clearly marked.

I needed something to pot on my ivy topiary and found this in my local thrift. It’s quite large at 20 cm tall and 22 cm in diameter. Best of all, it’s in like new condition.
It’s not Bitossi, but Mancioli is pretty, too!

At the same store where I got the Mancioli planter, I picked up this chair for $7… I’ve been looking for a sturdy chair to use at my desk. When I got home, I saw the Cushman Colonial badge on the bottom. @Drew any idea of the age of this one?
    Thank you!

Don’t pot directly into that, it won’t suit the pot or the plant. Inner removable liner. Nice pot.

Got it yesterday for only a few cents! Very cool and finely done folk art with 14 little panels/scenes overall. The story shows village life. It’s a small gourd only about 8cm wide.
