Roman / Greek Oil Lamp with Face?

    Hi, I picked up a four pottery pieces from an old collection identified as a mix of "Etruscan/Roman." A search revealed the black glazed pieces as Greek or possibly made for export in southern Italy.

    This oil lamp is the 1st piece. Anyone able to shed more light on where this may have come from? Or what the face might be? (I'd like to think it's Pan :joyful:)
    • Unknown face on "spout"
    • 5 holes on top

    I can't see any features that identify spoutman as a particular character, but satyrs & Priapus were popular, perhaps because of the association between nighttime & lovemaking.

    The snubby nose & horns/parted hairstyle(?) does make it look satyrish. Tried to do an image search for matching pictures but I kept getting Asian teapots :(
