    Not to hijack the thread but speaking of dolphin fountain spouts…Anyone think this is something other than just that? Had been wondering and figured what better spot to insert it. 18C8F83A-DB93-437A-8A7A-8EA3E3DEF13D.jpeg 4E829F12-26B2-4957-82F1-F92CCA9A26A0.jpeg BEAC83BC-D672-4E9A-B95F-A32BDCB2C26A.jpeg

    Desert, a beautiful catch, indeed, kudos!
    Speaking about fish, I'd say that fish-shaped fountain sprouts are all following the same pattern - of an extraterrestrial fish :joyful::joyful::joyful: I guess the designers copy from each other, they all look similar to me.
    Dolphins are cute and adorable, IMO.

    Pretty hard not to see them where you live, especially on a former fishmarket.;)
    (Don't tell your husband.:nailbiting: They're all goldfish, honestly.:angelic::joyful:)

    Oh, you live right in the centre of town? You lucky girl! Is your house a historic building too?
    I shouldn't have said, should I.:muted::sorry::bag:

    That is gorgeous!
    I love a good job lot, especially with tantalising glimpses of treasures!
    I’ve had to rein in my buying of job lots until I purchase a bigger house :hilarious:
    I’ve run out of space to stash stuff :facepalm:

    AJ a historic building, I wish!
    Boring sixties house in the nice historical center is what we could just afford.
    And still very lucky, if you see nowaday house prices.:nailbiting:
    KSW jewelry is far better than the pottery I used to collect in the past :rolleyes:

    You are surrounded by historical beauty though, in one of the gems of Flanders.
    Mine is also a boring 60s house, built in 1960, but nothing MCM about it.;)

    My 1960 house had butt-ugly contractor grade lighting fixtures that we've (mostly) replaced with ugly 90s lighting fixtures. (sigh) The even uglier pink bathroom sprang a leak in the pipes behind the tiles and they had to go, to no one's sadness.

    Evelyb30. We still have the original bathroom, toilet with original dark green tiles and half a kitchen from 1968. Lets just say our plumber had some other, more important jobs to do when we were halfway breaking out our kitchen units...some months ago:(
    So we are left with half of a 1968 kitchen for now...
    Ah well, all will be good. Eventually
    Houses...who needs them? Jewelry is easier to handle.:rolleyes:

    As long as everything in the kitchen works, it's not the worst thing to happen. I've heard of kitchen guys running off with everything ripped out.
