I inherited a Lane Altavista desk from my grandparents, who bought it in the US in the 1960's. I was wondering how much it would currently be worth, since I am looking to sell it and have no clue (especially since there are a couple of watermarks on the top).
Its measurements are 24" depth, 60" long with leaf up or 48" with leaf down, and 29" tall.
I've linked photos of the desk, stamps of the logo and serial number, and the drawer dovetailing.
    Thank you for any help!

Sorry Allison-We don't give prices here,we identify & evaluate but $'s are a 'no-no'.Prices are extremely volatile for all Collectibles be it a 1960's Munsters Game or David Gilmour's black Stratocaster.
You can easily enter the brand,style/mod#online & get an approx value/guesstimate.

    02 18 61 .......feb 18 1961

this would have sold better during the pandemic.......
now.....it's used brown furniture that I think a student may still have use for....

you'll be selling it locally, so it'll get more in a collage town, or near a larger population..

    good luck

I am not finding your exact desk. Looking at similar others, I am seeing values in the $300-500.00 range in the right market to the right person. The damage to the top might make these values ambitious. Saw some outlier auction prices under $100.00 so, as bosko69 said, prices can be volitile.

Looks like a perfectly nice desk, but right now those are a TOUGH sell locally. Once the lockdown buying spree died down, desks became a "good luck with that" item.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

And try putting some of your information on ebay as if you're looking to buy.....if there's similar there.....you'll see some prices.....also look at the SOLD prices!!
