Trading Stamps, barely vintage

I almost didn’t save these. I’m certain they aren’t particularly old (I’m guessing late 1960’s at the oldest, 1970’s more likely), they’re obviously not in perfect condition, and I can’t imagine they’re worth anything. But stuff only gets to be antique if someone saves them, and they don’t take up much space. I’m nOt a hoArder I’m a coLlector

 

Apparently some trading stamps can still be redeemed! Don't know the details however.

The S&H Greenpoints program was discontinued as of October 4, 2020 and it was announced that all legacy S&H Green Stamps no longer had value and could no longer be redeemed, while S&H Greenpoints totals would be transferred to a new program called Freshpoints.

I think S&H was the biggest. If they're gone, probably any others are as well. Still... they did last until 2020.

 

@moreotherstuff - I'm really surprised they lasted that long. Those have been out of favor for decades.

 

I remember my mom and all my aunts fervently collecting S&H stamps. I loved going to the S&H store with my mom and oohing and aahing over all the "treasures" ! Hadnt thought about all that in many a year.
