I have a lot to photograph, but this is one of summer's biggest finds. I decided to visit the antique mall where the owner loupes all my finds and raised the price of a dragon ring on me. This one seller used to make mistakes once in awhile, and the owner now goes through everything she has before she puts it out for sale. It was Saturday, and I stopped to look in her booth. She was there, and we talked, and I saw a necklace that was pretty sparkly for $10, so I took it to the register immediately to purchase it, hoping the owner wouldn't look it over (she said she just put some things out that morning, I guess the owner was too busy to see them, and this was one of the things). He was busy, there was a line to check out, he didn't loupe it, so in the car I was able to loupe it. Lumii_20230829_131015859.jpg The small one with the top bar is 10k and diamonds, $10 thrift shop find. The smaller plain one is 14k and diamonds, $15 thrift shop find. The chains are also 10k and 14k respectively. I will buy a sturdy 14k white gold chain for the large one.

Wowie I can not believe what you all have found.
That O necklace, didn't Oprah wear that?

Brad, when I see you say how much you paid for the items at the thrift, I could just plotz. What bargains.

    Love the lamp @cxgirl

    Great finds all.

Heh. I hate that when it's priced and someone says "we can't see it for that". Uhmm, who priced it again???

Yes! Stop being a lazy sod and do your job. Detest that method of throw it out and wait for someone to figure out for me what is good.

Happened to me more than once. One truely egregious example got posted in Rants and Raves when it happened. That store changed its policies so it never happened again. Alas it also means they check a lot of stuff instead of just chucking it into the case. Everyone knows once you put a price on it and put it out for the public, you're locked into that price.

The owner of the antique mall is notorious for putting unpriced items out then looking them up on ebay if someone wants to buy it. He has refused to sell tagged merchandise if he spots a mistake. He knows better to argue a price-tagged piece with me.

How does he stay in business? Screwing with your customers is NOT a good idea in the long run. Chase off the repeat buyers and soon you'll have no buyers.

It's a huge mall. Dealers come from out of state to buy. The guy in back of me in line was buying $910 in coins.

Strange thing happened today, I bought these 2 perfumes at a flea market:
    PerfumesRebought8_30_23.jpg

They looked familiar so I started digging in my records and found this photo I posted to this thread on November 20, 2022, notice the bottles lower left:
    SF_MiscFromNov2022.jpg

They are the exact same bottles, same design, same hallmarks and even the same small dent in the silver cap on the larger one. I sold them both to the same person at a show on New Years Day 2023.

    What are the odds
