Featured Help with old chair please

Hi everyone, I came across these old chairs at my grandparents home and was wondering how old they were and what they could be worth. Was hoping the good people of this forum could help me. Thanks for your time.

 

Hi there:
This is an Eastlake walnut armchair ca. 1890; probably part of a multi-piece parlor set. The leather upholstery, though probably expensive, detracts from the historicity of the chair.
I don’t know your location, so it’s not possible to provide an accurate valuation. As-is, with the tanking of the antique furniture market, I’d estimate about $20.00 for the chair at auction in my part of the US Midwest.

Lyndsay: Put it in your office/study/mancave behind your desk. Looks very comfortable, and will go nicely with the English hunt prints you've collected.
