Help with age and German saying on old hand painted Beer glass

    Went to an estate sale today and found this very old hand painted beer glass. Is this late 19th century? Can anyone translate what it says? Hard to tell what some of the letters are. Glass is rough at the bottom. Feels great in hand. As a beer drinker I loved the raised bead line around the glass. Measures 6 1/2" tall

    It is a student song, a former student reminisces about his student days.
    "Oh, old boys' glory, where have you gone."

    Altburschen is similar to the British concept of "the old boys", as in the "old boys network", which is still important in UK politics for instance.
