Estate sale - half interested and half Oh No

There's a pile of jewelry in this one, but... Avon. I see Avon boxes and Avon is in the title. Avon bottles and Avon glassware are in the photos. Part of me thinks I should go just because there's so little out there. Another part sees Avon and hits the mental Back button. With the old incisional hernias acting up I'm not sure if I'm even up to it....

 

Well there’s a pretty sweet Whalers hockey puck in the jewelry photo. Worth having for any good Nutmegger! ;p

 

I see some nice Delphite. Most of it is vintage, some may be new.

I didn't get a chance to look at all the photos. But the delphite caught my eye.

 

Caught mine too. Somebody will be there after it. As for the hockey puck, they're not horribly rare in the Hartford area. I'm also not a fan.

 

Ha no, not rare or valuable but the nostalgia factor if high if you’re a male yankee.

edit: original Whalers stuff does have a market though for that reason. If it was a buck or two it may be worth snagging and flipping for $10-$15.

edit 2: like dead celebrities, defunct sports team memorabilia does get collected more once they are gone. Like you said this isn’t a very rare object though.

 

They'll probably have $10 on it, since we're in its home market. The Civic Center mall, aka home ice, is maybe 5 miles down the road from my house.
