Please. Note my comment about an exploding display case! Don't be tempting me further. :)

Beautiful display, but that single case looks so lonely-double your pleasure, double your fun.
PS-I actually have known folks who've built additions to their house for their goodies ! You're still within the bounds of sanity.

There are two like this already. Three shorter ones in the dining room, a built in china cabinet and a corner display case. In the living room there is a huge display case and there are 8 small glass display cases throughout.

    From the latest clearance.

18k gold knotted rope bracelet still in its box

Three more 9k bracelets and a few 9k chains

I also got a dose of omicron so I was poleaxed for a while and week late finishing the clearance.

Thankfully better now but lost my sense of taste and smell.

You betcha. I have acquired it partly through the patient kindness of the members of this forum and your depth of knowledge, and partly through my travels and interests. I love walking around and seeing all the beautiful things.

Wonderful finds. So sorry to hear of your brush with COVID. I hear the taste and smell come back in most people.

I got a couple of these boxed in the last clearance, for use on military aircraft, I'm sure the guy should not have had them.
I have no way of knowing if they work or what to do with them.

    Dave-What's their function ?

The pitot-static tube is mounted on the aircraft, or in a wind tunnel, so that the center tube is always pointed in the direction of the flow and the outside holes are perpendicular to the center tube. On some airplanes the pitot-static tube is put on a longer boom sticking out of the nose of the plane or the wing.

They are heated because if they freeze up at altitude they can give false readings and cause the plane to crash.

I see lots of avionic stuff for sale here in the States (much of it extremely $$$$$).I think if you tried to get some kind of clearance from the Military-you could be looking at months of snafu red tape.
...of course, you could just list it & see if it gets yanked ?
Do you know anybody in the RAF you could bounce it off ?

@daveydempsey ..I hope you don't carry any long lasting effects from your bout with that nasty virus.

& seems like this recent home clearance .....is landing you a large gratuity !!:woot::woot:

Davey, I had covid about a year ago and didn't notice any problem with my ability to taste or smell but have discovered that many things no longer taste good. They still have flavor, decent flavor. But it seems, no matter what I eat, it doesn't taste as good as I remember it tasting in the past. I've gone into a restaurant with my mouth watering for a particular dish I've had before and it's just.... meh! For lack of a better description. Maybe it's just me and has nothing to do with covid. But I find it easy to bring half my dinner home for tomorrow's lunch!

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

And when out, we're beginning to see more people wearing masks again due to a bit of an uptik in this new variant of covid..............

Same here. I still have a thick stack in the trunk of my car and have been thinking of breaking some out. It still hasn't gone away, just mutated.

I always seem to find the best stuff when I feel lousy. Sounds like you took a page out of my book whether you want to or not.
