    You all are a hoot! Korla Pandit .... indeed!

    BTW, I think 40s-50s is spot-on for this. Both old and reproduction MCM shades are available...... Can get rather pricey.

    Kent- Korla was a hoot (even to a 5 yr old !). He was one of the progenitors of Post War Exotica,before Martin Denny.
    Brad-True re shades.I even think modern,tiered,laced fiberglass shades are being made-$70 to $150.Some of the 50's lamps & shades made by Moss & Majestic are extraordinary.
