Would anyone know the name on this watercolor? Framed and measures 17" x 15 1/2".

Looks like Pizet, a French surname. Sweet watercolour, with nice detail.

It's very nicely executed but... The subject is something of a cliche.

It is very well done for this genre of watercolor work. The size alone sets it apart to a higher level of painting. it may once have hung and sold in a gallery showing. Is there anything glued or written on the back to help describe it, or is it sealed up tight with brown paper glued around the edge of the frame? The frame looks to be about 1980s-90s vintage, but difficult to see any detail on it.

I believe the artist name is Piset.Listed on a few sites of similar work by that name. Not able to get much information on the artist though.

Agree at first glance you would say factory art,but (Geese over lake) sold at Ross Auctions and (Seagull over coast) on Ebay are quiet different to the one on this thread so one might suppose not factory art,but really very hard to tell.

Variations on the same subject signed with same artist's name in different hand certainly points that way.
