So, car boot yesterday, nice lad with a box of bits. I'm pawing through it, with it IN MY DAMN HAND, when some fool tries to put their arm in over my shoulder. I shouted and was not polite. Then asked the nice lad the price for the box, I could NOT be arsed to pick out the good bits, but could see it had promise.

Oh, did it ever. Can you see the at least three good bits? Twenty two items in total.

I was just going to inquire about the daisies also.

I have a brooch, given to me by my Danish exchange student many years ago.

Mine is marked AM 925S on one of the petals, and the center is marked Sterling Denmark.

It looks to be the same as the one in the picture.

    Thank you sooooo much Kyra!

I know when given to me, she said it had a special significance.

    Very special at that!

It says Bernhard Hertz also made them, which is why I thought of Hertz. It says Michelsen was the first.
The Margarethe and wartime connection makes sense, and that more than one Danish maker made them because of her.
Hope to hear from obb who made hers.:)

Besides the fabulous Danish pieces, here are others that caught my eye. There must be quite a few more pieces hiding underneath.

    I’m most impressed!

The necklace and brooch are indeed anton Michelson marguerite. And fabulous. Those are the stars. Full AM and Sterling Denmark siggies.

The copper brooch is signed Moda. And yes, that flower brooch is signed 925 with a trombone clasp. Real coral earrings, the ab crystal is on a silver chain. The earrings are moonstone in silver. The green and fake Pearl necklace is Coro, I think and there’s some Fish Enterprises bits.

I’ll pop some detailed photos up in a bit.

the fool nearly got my elbow in his painful bits, I tell ya. Oh, and the scrappy man was there too. Oops.

Too late! I'd have closed the lid on his fingers! "Wait your turn, arsewipe." If I leave you any, which I won't. I got here too late for the guessing, but knew those daisies were something. They don't turn up in the States, but they made my nose twitch.

I'm in the States too and would never have recognized the daisy jewelry as Danish....it's lovely.

People are so rude! I was in my charity shop the other day and my daughter and I were looking at the Jewellery and a woman walked up beside my daughter and said ‘Excuse me’ without any politeness and literally elbowed her out of the way! Unfortunately my daughter was too polite to stand her ground so I did it for her.
At the car boot yesterday a man said ‘Here’s the £3 for the watch, oh and I’ll take the rocking horse for free’ err….I don’t think so.
    Great finds OBB :)

He'd have gotten my boot somewhere he didn't want it. Or my cane, more to the point.

Congrats, OBB, amazing finds! But I would say I am not surprised at all, it is typical for you to unearth treasures.

None of these would turn up here, unfortunately, and I would have never guessed any of them, except maybe the coral which can be found here. Here we have predominantly post WWII Czech glass and Soviet Baltic amber, and some Middle Eastern coral as we were at good terms with some Middle Eastern countries like Egypt, Libya and Syria, also Morocco and Algeria, and people travelled there to work.
