three lines, whose mark?

Someone in Germany or Austria, I’d say.

 

looks like a sitzendorf hallmark...

 

It's not German or Austrian and therefore of no further interest to me. Shown mark is however an otherwise unidentified mark which is often found on items which appear far too French to be true. A now retired antiques dealer also once told me that he was offered such items for pennies a few years back; he always assumed them to be reproware as he never saw any provenance. This would match a few observations people have made over time (sticker residue, too perfect glaze, etc.).

 

Ah, well we'll stick these in the "decorative" rather than "collectible" category then.
