Dating this antique plate

    Hello! I bought this beautiful gold and blue plate today from an antique store. I am trying to figure out when it was made. The backstamp looks like it says Limoges but is a little faded. Any idea when the backstamp or plate is from?

    Louis Strauss and Son was a New York importer.

    I think the particular factory mark is the star one.

    You are probably right, I was referring to the Circle with LS&S Limoges on it as the importer to correct Chinoiserie's post.
