    Picked up a nice painting. Not sure if it is oil or acrylic. Painted on thin board. Signed with initials. Hoping someone recognizes the initials or style of painting.

    To my eye... Period copy of a 1950ish still life painting of a very popular subject -- wild roses in a bowl -- by a not fully trained artist. Placed in older frame. Almost folk art in its simplicity.
