They're 8 3/16" long; the bowls are ~1 3/4" x ~2 3/4"; max handle width ~15/16". Weight, the pair, is ~4 ozt. The pattern is identical, front & back.

I hope they're sterling, or roughly equivalent; the singular mark offers only slight encouragement...but hope springs eternal.

I would like to know where an' when made, please...an' if possible the silver alloy. Anything else of significance will, of course, be most welcome...I promise not to scrap 'em!

    Thanks for lookin'!

Silverplate - if it says Rekord like I think it does. I've seen it called German and Norwegian both, but without a silver hallmark in that period they almost have to be plated.

You'll need to take these to a jeweler or coin shop to get them tested because there is nothing on them indicating fineness. Nor is there anything that tells me where they are from.

They look like they are from about 1900, give or take, based on the design.

Dang!...but I can accept that. They're odd enough, and not worn through anywhere, an' I like 'em. Thanks, evely!

That's about when I thought they were from, though I wished for earlier. Thanks, Bakers!
