    Made by Meriden Britannia Co. Electro-plated and not silver as Komo has mentioned.

    Britannia is an alloy of non-silver metals similar to pewter which takes plating well.

    I am not aware of any form of date marking used by this company.

    The Pewter Society has a database of pewterers, which will show changes made to their marks, and that might help you pin the date down.
