Thank you so much. Turns out both dogs have a touch of colitis. It’s been a rough couple days for them.

 

Here’s some more real close ups. It’s got some green dirty bits. Definitely needs a gentle cleaning. I’m assuming the gold bits are a gold wash.

 

It rules out Imperial Russia as they had different scale of measuring precious metals, but also USSR which used specific hallmark(s) for silver - either worker's head (before 1950s) or hammer and sickle (after that).

 

Yeah, I really don’t know what to make of it now. The 925 implies that it’s modern, but it looks so old! Maybe it’s the unique style throwing me off.

 

The 925 mark was already used in the late 19th century, but not in Russia.

I am sorry, I know how they feel. Poor doggies. Are they reacting well to their meds, getting better?

 

Oh wow. I thought 925 was only used in the last 50 years in the US?

And both dogs are doing much better this morning. My bigger girl is a bullmastiff and seems to have shaken it off rather quickly. The golden puppy still has a few days to be 100%, I reckon. Thank you so much for checking in. <3

 

I was looking really closely at the whole piece with my loupe last night, and alas there are no other markings. But the sapphire is a really pretty sort of milky pink with a hint of purple. I’m loving the pendant. I almost wonder if it belonged to a bracelet or a larger piece when it was made.

 

I am in Europe, so I don't know about US marking history. Maybe one of our US members knows more. But then again, it may not be US made.

Those two loops suggest a necklace.
I wonder it could be Arts & Crafts, with those ribbon-like loops.

 

Edwardian is my most favorite jewelry era. That and Georgian!
