IMG_2125.png Hi there! This pendant has no hallmarks, I’m just trying to get opinions on what age it could be? The bow at the top caught my eye, and of course the acorn-like shape of the amethyst. The bezel set pink sapphire though… that’s the only thing really throwing me off about guessing the age. What do you think?

    Charming piece, really nicely made.
    Maybe inside the ribbon-like loops?

Beautiful! I have a strong Russian vibe, Faberge style. Faberge used to make small Easter pendants mostly eggs but also oak nuts made of precious stones. I don't say it is Faberge but in his workshop style, IMO. Maybe also from USSR period, like this one - could not post the image but here is the link:
    https://sorokastore.com/podveska-rozovyj-zhelud

Oak is a much cherished tree in the Russian folklore and traditions, and oak nuts are often depicted in the form of pendants or earrings. And also for Christmas tree decorations.
Look for tiny marks somewhere, if Russian, it is most certainly marked.

Wow yes, @IvaPan I was thinking it had a Russian vibe myself!

I will get back to this post as soon as I can with more close up photos and info I find. My golden retriever puppy had me up all night - not feeling well and it’s looking like a vet visit.

Thank you all so much for trying to help! :brb:

Link to Faberge Museum in St. Petersburg
    https://fabergemuseum.ru/en/collections/collection-highlights/miniatyurnyie-yajcza-podveski
Faberge used to make quite interesting designs for Easter eggs, some are not even eggs, there is a rabbit with a miniature egg in paws, also two oak nuts with sophisticated designs, chicken and owl, all of the size of around 1,7-2,5 cm which is similar to the size of the oak nut pendant here.

Virginia Museum collection - some works are not marked (probably when they are not made of precious metals) - like the one in the link. But they are so exquisite and beautiful that their value is high even when not made of precious metals or stones.

Very interesting article with photos explaining the traditions of miniature Easter eggs in Russia (link is in Russian but the photos speak for themselves). Later I can translate the most interesting parts of the text.

There is also a photocopy of the diary of the Russian Queen Alexandra Feodorovna where she meticulously sketched and put the prices of miniature Easter eggs (together with the names of recipients) given by her as presents to the royal family members. The diary was later taken by the Bolsheviks and preserved as part of the Romanov estate. Strangely enough, these eggs were not expensive at all, most in the range of a couple of Rubles. She was known as a cheapskate - her part German blood may have had its influence on this :) although she did not know German and was raised in the British Royal court by her grandmother, Queen Victoria.

Welp, I used the macro lens on the back and did see a dulled 925. I guess that rules out it being super old. Can’t seem to find a makers mark.
