    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me read this artists name!

Sort of a lot of possibilities with that first letter there lol

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Warm Regards,

I have quite the joke for this exact image but it's a bit.... Risqué.

I believe that on Feb 29th, it's "OK" for a girl to propose to a guy! That hen looks pretty determined .... ;)

H.R. Searing? I think it's an adorable sketch, very well done. India ink and the border appears to have been done on a drafting table with a rapideograph pen, so the artist was most likely a man who was an engineer or architect or similar..

Looks like a 1957 pastel to me, Bakers. I have bad eyesight, so I could have misread the date, please check for me..

In any event, it doesn't appear to be the same artist's style.

You're right, anti. It was getting late for me and I thought it said 1937.

The artist probably not done what his wife had told him to do and caught heck for it. Just his way to relieve the stress by drawing it. :joyful:
