Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

WHOA!!!!!! Last night when I looked at the one image of the front, maybe it was just ME, but I honestly thought it looked shiny, almost like silver!!!! I'm SO SORRY!!! NOW with new images I see it's a whole "horse of a different color"!!!!!
And now what I see, I'm not thinking metal!!! Whatever it is, it definitely looks like it might have been "antiqued" when painted! Here are your recent images......

Looks like it was faux grain-painted at one time. Now worn down to a gesso coating.

Somebody tried their hand at shabby chic some time ago with that finish. I would think it was gilded at some point and later painted white then glazed with that brown color.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Welcome to Antiquers, @Thriftyfinds . The mirror would look fine in a complementary decor. And you got it for a good price! Sorry it is not in its original condition, but it's a survivor for sure!
