Let me introduce myself… My name is Amy.

I love finding treasures for my home. I’m drawn to anything that’s wood, ceramic, brass or natural fiber - the more patina, the better. I pride myself in finding things fixing them up, restoring them, or giving them the once over with plain old elbow grease. I believe most things have a lot of life in them, and they deserve care and maintenance.

I was a wedding photographer for over 16 years and recently decided to switch gears. My education is in the fine arts, specifically photography, design and Art History.

I live in Wisconsin and just opened my very first shop at the local Vintage Mall. My goal is to find items that have lots of life left in them and offer affordable artwork.

Phew, got there after a while. I first read "Hello from WWI". I thought it was a greeting from the trenches.
Many of us are not from the US, so we aren't used to US abbreviations.

 

Aj I am from the US but I read that WWI as well! Welcome Amy. Good place to be and good luck with your new business.

Doesn't really matter now, I think people get it when they read the posts.
But you can edit titles by clicking 'edit title'. I believe you have to click in the 'title' box first, I haven't done it in ages.

 

Probably the 'miltaria' crowd, who rarely make an appearance in other forums.
