Jaffe Rose lamp

Hello, can anyone advise me on the history and value of a lovely lamp I have. Underneath is written handmade in Italy for Jaffe Rose.

How very interesting. Jaffe Rose were an importer here, usually of glass paperweights. Said weights were usually Harrachov.

I think 0218 may be the 4-numeral model number judging by some other Jaffe Rose pieces I saw online.

I think at some point they branched out into porcelain & pottery items.

I found a discussion on the Glass Message Board that someone mentioned a Czech connection to their glass items.

In my opinion, this lamp came out when the whole cottage-themed rooms came about. It involved lots of cherubs, ribbons, all shades of the red/pink color spectrum & tons of flowers. I may be wrong but I think that was a 1980s - 1990s thing.

This forum does not usually do values as it is something that depends on where you live, how you plan on selling the item, etc.

It is difficult enough for those of us in the US to give values as they differ depending on which area of the country (i.e. west coast, midwest, south) you live in, what is the size of the city you live in, is it a rural area or urban. So there is no way for our international members to judge either. By the same token what might sell for huge sums of money in the UK might not garner hardly anything in France.
