At least it's out of circulation and into the hands of someone who knows what it is.

I also got a 3 month old 75 inch Samsung Qled TV along with a Bose sound bar.
Both are now residing in my lounge.
I already have a new LG 65 inch so the Samsung is below as a PC screen.

The "man carrying ladder" pendant is very cute, but reminds me of Monopoly game graphics.

Not a lot to find recently, then last week I had some good finds :)

Set 6 Paden City goblets from 1930s, pattern called - of all things - Popeye and Olive :D, 2 cut glass perfumes (1 with silver on the neck), a sweet painted glass juice glass, a green bottle that needs research, and EAPG child's mug with birds in nest and a cat in the bottom, an Art Deco Mandalian purse, silver tea and salt spoons and napkin ring, an old tin lard pail, and a costume 1960s-ish perfume.

The necklace is not Bakelite, need to check for amber but could just be plastic, 3 silver bracelets, 3 silver pins, 3 pairs silver earrings (1 pair with a pendant), 3 silver rings, 2-14k bracelets and a Damascene bracelet and earring set.

DINGDINGDING! The amber sure looks like amber from here, or maybe a mix. Pretty nice silver and gold haul too. If you're anything like me, you paid pennies.

I like the motorcycle better, but I bet Bear goes straight for the mesh bag.

All stunning, but that mesh handbag is out of this world. I hope that's amber, keep us posted. And if it is, I love seeing pics of the flourescence.

When he wants to be. Not a dog I'd want to meet in a dark ally he considered His turf.

I find quite a few Art Deco purses, but for every one made by Mandalian I find 10 Whiting & Davis. I was very happy to find this one :)

    Great finds everyone.
Davey, I can not believe people leave behind all that jewelry. But that is good for you.

People don't want to come back and clean up, or can't. And it gets left behind. What I can't believe is some leave grandpa's medals(!) and such. I mean.???? What in the holy **** are the thinking?

Is it common for people to store valuables in the garage.
I would have thought that is the most accessible place around - also wont it be difficult for my family members who dont stay with me to find it

I guess it works both ways?

It was packed away in a trinket box which was in wooden chests that he had stored after moving back to UK from military service overseas.
He never unpacked and just left them stored whilst going back overseas.
