Had a good day at the car boot. Found a Walt Disney snow white figurine, some hammersley victorian violets items, a repousse metal box (maybe japanese), a small Finnish ginger jar, a booths plate, a paper weight, spoons and more spoons, a water colour with an illegible signature, a huge boaty painting and a small chinoiserie coffee cup (possibly Worcester).

Aye. I'm amazed the cup is in one piece. Just thrown in a plastic box and thrown all over the place. I didnt have a clue what it was until I got home. Just thought it was English copy of famille rose. I paid a quid for it with one of the spoons. If I havd known what it was I would have asked him to get more boxes out of his van and had a much deeper delve. The paper weight I am thinking strathearn perhaps. The base isn't finished very cleanly.

Wow! What a jackpot, especially the Victorian Violets (one of my faves), the paperweight is lovely, the plate gorgeous, and yes, I would snagged both of those pictures.

Glad you like. I managed to find the violets teapot in the previous Sunday. I was told that the artist of the large boar painting is local to Christchurch UK. So I have something to go on. I might struggle with he small watercolour though. The frame is Nielsen made in USA so may e it is a USAian

The boats look Asian to me, are they called Sampans? And the signature looks like Ling Chuen maybe? But the name is written in English so it could be an Asian/American person. I would just hang it on the wall and enjoy it.

Yes I got the Asian water township vibe from it too. It looks like ping to me but doubt that is an Asian name. I have lots of boat paintings in my hallway and I think it will go nicely there. Thanks for your comments.
