Featured Egg shaped perfume bottle

    I'm having no luck finding any information about this small perfume bottle. It's 2" long by 1" wide. The number 57 may have been written on it by the owner, since I have others that I got at an auction that had tiny numbered stickers on them. Thanks for any help.

    Marked for both bottle and stopper to make sure they stay together (just like decanter and stopper are done?)

    The pieces would be produced separately in the factory and paired later.

    Looks to be imitating a Limoges box. If not French I’d be shocked. I guess that’s been pretty well established though.
