Yes it is a little difficult as I do want to give them a fair price but still need to keep myself right ya know?

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Do you have any update about your interactions with the Crystal Palace Foundation? Just curious.

They were interested so I put it on my Etsy and sent them a link. They have yet to purchase, perhaps, a little too pricey for them!

Good luck in selling it, either to them or to somebody else!

    Good luck with this.

My own experience with museums etc. is that they all too often plead absolute poverty and expect people to simply donate items, which all too often then get put in store and never seen again! :(

At least you can make yourself a cup of tea while you wait!

Ha indeed! Hopefully won't see pink elephants after drinking over 100 year old tea :hilarious:

I have it at $475 CAD plus shipping. I did get an appraisal from the "Value my Stuff" website which suggested $400-600 USD as auction value, $800 for insurance. I use them sometimes when I don't have a clue what to ask for an item. I can always come down , the right buyer usually comes along eventually for a fair price :)

But often expect some benefactor to buy it for them first!
