Pricing and describing display cabinet

    Looks like it has been cut from a side by side secretary. Circa 1900. Here is what an original would have looked like.

    Welcome Harmonhall!

    Sorry if this is not helpful, but I think it suffered enough already, I personally would just let it go. Too hard to strip down given what's left and been modified. What a drop-dead gorgeous piece it was.

    Also sorry for the following unsolicited rant based on this and similar postings lately with heavily modified or restored items - I don't subscribe to the theory that if its yours (and I know you didn't do this) you can do whatever you want with it to put your "touch" on it. I see people being Stewards of things like this more than Owners. Rant Off...

    Still has a little value as a functional piece to the shabby chic crowd. Depending on your market, I doubt more than $100. I know I would be pushing it at that here in the Midwest.
