I read that etsy is giving refunds to buyers who claim non-receipt, even if tracking shows delivered. If under $200, etsy covers the refund. If over $200, it comes right out if the seller's account.
I removed all of my higher priced items, and only have a handful of items left there.

 

What you read is true. However there are also reports that etsy has been giving buyers back their money below the $200 mark as well. Not only that but there are also sellers saying that once they got the go ahead to ship and the payment was ok'd, it then came back as a bad payment and this is after the item has been shipped. So the money is removed from the sellers account even tho they were told it is a good payment. Sellers have lost their payments, their item as well.
