Sterling Silver Ring with Script D mark. Durgin?

    The only D I found that was similar was for the William B. Durgin Co. It closed in 1905. The ring has some age but I'm not sure it's quite that old. Did another company use a D like this?

    This is the first time that I have seen this type of an adjustable ring with a slide that is under the ring top. I thought that might be a hint of the age. Thank you.

    That doesn't look like their D. Although they changed hands in 1905, Gorham (the purchaser) continued the use of the Durgin marks until the at least 30's I believe.

    For anyone that is interested. Someone on the ebay board found the mark on etsy, it was a ring with label and it is a Danecraft mark.
