    Hi All,

Any ideas on who manufactured these plates? They are 9 inches in diameter.

    TIA,
    Biju

Yes a readable diamond mark would be most helpful:)

Can you make out the letter or number in each point of the diamond?

Not sure beyond what's legible in the last photo. But the other mark definitely looks like the c.1851-85 Copeland mark in the link you referred. Thank you again!

I can't make out much from rhat photo. Perhaps you can. The date and parcel number should verify the maker.

I can only guess that on the left it might be an R but could be something else. It's fuzzy to me.

Here are some higher resolution photos - not sure if the mark is any more discernable though.

There is a way to find the maker of the registration when you can make out the numbers and letters. Here I am guessing at what I think I see.

If the top letter is D=1852
If the left letter is E=May
If the bottom number is 5=parcel#5

The right number appears to be two numbers starting with a 1_ so a day in the teens.

IF all that is true, there is a registration to W. T. Copeland on May 14, 1852, Parcel 5 Pat #85081

If any of my guesses are wrong it could be something else. Perhaps in hand you will be able to verify or correct the guess.

You can look here for the information.
