Anyone ever seen this small penny bank before? Its only about 2 ¾ inches long and 2 ½ tall. It looks to have the original paint. I can’t appear to find it in the penny bank book? Any help would be great!

One of the most primitive cast iron penny/razor banks i've ever seen.

Classic Jim Crow era representation of a little 'tar baby'(their slang-not mine !) hugging a watermelon-you'd see similar images in adverts, trade cards, common in the US.This was during a time when the lynchings of blacks were fairly commonplace-so this kind of caricature was considered cute & humorous.
One of the most classic bits of marketing back then was for a tobacco brand named 'Ni**er Hair Tobacco'.

And they are still turning out these racist things in China and pretending they are antiques here to buy online or in person. I saw a doc about how they make them look old and then export them.

The Chinese will make anything that sells, so this must be an item that sells.:( And they churn out "antiques" like there is no tomorrow.
