Only photo I have to go on. The beads are definitely not uniform. Even the beads of like color seem to have some natural inclusions/differences it appears. CAD8CD31-544B-4426-900A-28254A2EE70E.jpeg

Unless you can get a UV light on it, you can’t be sure.

I hear ya, just looking for a consensus based on the photo until that’s possible. Ended up buying it online for a tenner, figured it was worth a chance.

My gut feel is some beads yes, some not. A mix.

Interesting. I had the same feeling but kept thinking in black and white. I figured it had to be all or nothing. Didn’t occur to me it could be a mix of both.

Hate to say it, but I'd be surprised if any were amber.

Great colours, go and get a UV torch, hours of fun!
What are the spacers in between, I can’t make out what they are.

I am no expert but will bet on evelyb30's opinion. An UV torch will answer.
Real amber or not, it is a nice necklace, anyway.

Thritto, I'm with evelyb and Iva. Probably faux amber but really nice.
Ditto. Eagerly awaiting the UV test.
Btw, are the beads warm to the touch?

Haven’t received the necklace yet. No clue what the spacers are. As many times as I looked at the photo I couldn’t figure it out. I do have a couple UV flashlights I’ll check it with. It was worth a shot at $10. I can probably get more than that back out of it even if they aren’t real and break even at worst after fees and all that.

I know. Some look like glass, others like bone, and then I think I see filigree zigzag with a lot of polish residue, so no idea at all.
Even if it is faux amber that is a bargain. It is a very nice necklace.
    The satin cord looks Chinese.

Turned out to be faux as faux can be. No UV needed. Spacers cheap pot metal and badly oxidized. Oh well!

J Dagger, no worry, it is the price for knowledge. And not a high one anyway. IMO the beads look nice even faux, and can be restrung.

I’d take the same gamble again! It would look nice restrung with new spacers.
