Help with Art Deco/Bauhaus Tea Set-Italy

Hi, Folks-
Just acquired this cool set in copper and brass with wood. Included are a teapot, coffeepot, creamer and sugar. The coffeepot is about 6-1/2" tall. All is copper save for the spouts and handles of the 2 pots which is brass. Finials are black-painted wood and the handles of the pots have wood elements-see photos. The impressed mark says Made in Italy with numbers and letters, different on each item. The design seems Bauhaus-inspired. Does any know the company name or designer? Thanks for thinking about this.

 

Check designs by Karl Hagenauer. Online dates from 1945 into the '50s. Don't know how manufacture in Italy play into it.

Geez Lew,I was gonna buy a few pieces (or set)-then I checked out the prices ! Guess I'll have to wait til the cosmos guides me to the right thrift store.

 

Even a blind pig gets a truffle now and again. Not that I'm casting aspersions on pigs or the blind but you know what I mean.

Somewhat similar, marked Made in Italy, not as many pieces. Tone of the copper looks different, but may be in different light. Seller doesn't know maker, either.

PS-It's a pity we have to get the house painted,but maybe a little dried salmon on the front porch will get him to show up !
