Yes, West Germany not Western if that matters, it's the last one pictured. It's the black and floral tapestry coin purse. The zipper pull is marked Made In West Germany with an emblem on the opposite side of the pull that looks like E I N. I don't have pictures of that yet.

Well, that provides definitive dating. Important to remember that, with a grouping of pretty things like yours, a woman would have saved and collected them over a period of time. But I'd think all in the post-World War II years. Other opinions (as always) welcomed.

I have a collection of beaded bags and other items that I haven't looked at in about 30 years. They were on loan to a local historical society and when I got them back I left them packed up. There are pincushions and scissors holders and things like that. I'm wondering if yours isn't meant to hold something. If not glasses, then something else. Here are some examples of antique beaded items. https://www.google.com/search?q=ant...g&ei=YniQZNaWDuml5NoPzqulgA4&bih=785&biw=1774

    LOL @komokwa

@Bev aka thelmasstuff Thank you. They were wonderful to look at. I never knew match holders were a thing. I doubt the one I have is NA. I think the machine stitching on the back panel is odd. But it certainly could be a holder of some sort.
I appreciate your input and will continue researching.
