It might, but if so I think it's glued in. No marks on the ring and it's unmarked....and I"m not sure it's gold. It doesn't test like 10k or higher; I don't keep the acids handy for lower ones.

But got this for a bargain less than $1 (well unless it’s resin/plastic :)) today. Just wanted to confirm is it carved bovine bone? (found similar ones on line) It has 10 little panels. Thanks

Seconded - sell as bovine. Might be water buffalo, but there's no point in confusing the bots.

Here is your picture. You can screen shoot it. Did you try the glass and pottery board?

Saw this little chap in a charity shop recently & just couldn't resist buying it. In plain white porcelain(?) it's 8 inches high and the oval base is 6 inches long. Thought it was

A little follower of Bacchus from the looks of him or Bacchus himself as a child.

No idea whodunnit, but he's a cutie. Spill vase for me too.

Went to an estate sale this morning at Way to Freakin' Early to find nasty stairs to get in and zero jewelry. Bought a washcloth and...dingdingding for $20 total. The cobalt and gold dish looked thickly potted and was tagged $15 on the front and had Meissen marks on the back. The photo frame alas is probably plated, but the Lladro collector's club piece is autographed on the base.

The necklaces and ring are from a charity shop on Thursday, inside the hospital I'm going back to today. (annual boob squishing party - aka mammogram) Paid $19 total for a HEAVY .950 silver necklace, a silver and glass pendant necklace, and a sterling and diamond ring. The big necklace has $40 in silver in it by weight. It was "fun" testing those bitty diamonds; I heard a lot of Error noises before it zinged to the top.

Oh, well done! That is exactly the same apart from the colour/gilding though strangely mine is an inch and a half taller.I guessed it was a spill vase and found a couple similar in style - not with Bacchus though - but didn't expect to see the same one!

    Beautiful cobalt dish!!!
For the "party," please be careful. At my last one, the tech tore me in two places and I ended up with a rash it took two antibiotic creams to get rid of. Have them put a film down on the plate. It also happened to a friend's mom. Good luck.

Didn't happen today. Joe Biden's motor route blocked me in and I had to reschedule. I've gotten one yearly since I was at least 45 at the local hospital. They know what they're doing since all that office does is mammos.
