Yeah there wasnt a standard mark by the looks of it. All individually hand painted.

 

Might visit a Pro on this Charlie (or 2).

 

I think someone probably drilled it to use it as a planter.... so the water would drain...

Yes, I read the whole article, too. It was interesting and lots of good info of what to look for in period pieces.

 

Looks right for Kangxi to me.

A local dealer (open since 65 !),says the Chinese collectors come in his shop looking for old porcelain,sometimes in a group w/ powerful magnification tools.

 

Yeah agree with verte kangxi some ones turn it to cake stand missing the brass/fittings

 

and so it continues......
had to pick up some local auction wins today, and thought id have another look in the same shop

think the second one is pretty much the same period as the previous kangxi one.

the first one (which i like most out of all of them) i think maybe a little later, qianlong ? (has a staple repair) (no marks)

3rd is smaller presuming a saucer, and have no idea about, never seen one like it before, like cloisonne on porcelain ??

 

The first is English . Pattern is known as Dragons In Compartments. Done by several factories including Worcester and Coalport c1800. Google the pattern and see which is closest to identify maker (the factories’ versions all differ).

 

Second looks old Chinese and third Japanese. Looks like you’ve found an interesting shop!
