Featured Better name for this? Leather belt bag with piping?

    Thinking this might be from the 1970s plus or minus. Is there a name for this kind of thing? Was it a kit? Thanks.

    I'd call it a belt coin purse. Think you're right about date. Belt would have had matching decoration. Dunno about kit.

    Looks a lot like the stuff Tandy sold for scout projects back in the day or like something we made at summer camp. I remember weaving that plastic stuff into key tags.
