    Does look like a trivet except it the surface is fluted so kinda wobbly to set stuff on. Lid for a chamber pot? Chimney flue cover?

    Looks like a tea trivet to me. Summat to park the hot teapot on in the table.

    I see that the pattern on yours is a bit faded. It does look like it says Leonard on the bottom. Good find! It could be any of the things that have been guessed by the others. I tend to think it's more likely to be a lid of some kind.
