Does this backstamp provide clue to age of jar

    I am curious about this backstamp. Does it give an indication to the age and in some way value of a Chinese vase/jar or is it just an indication that the piece was imported. EAED136D-FADD-4B33-BF57-5EDDA1FAEB92.jpeg

    Mark: Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi - "Great Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, Made".



    but.... unfortunately .......... what you have is most likely below....



    297. Mark: Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi- "Great Qing Qianlong Period Make". Probably 3rd quarter of 20th century.

    .& while you don't show the item itself.....value will be minimal....

    Many Chinese makers have used the Qianlong mark ever since the Qianlong era until now, and they will keep doing it. It is a reference to an important period for Chinese art.
    As the others said, yours is probably pretty late into the 20th century.

    We need to see the item to really be able to say anything about it.

    Thanks everyone. I have a things for vases and when I saw this version and did some quick research I saw some very high prices and some low prices. I left it behind and thought I would get some more insight into the mark. Thanks for your knowledge once again.
