Thank you all, friends, especially @bercrystal ! I am very grateful for your help.
Given me plenty of food for thought, the thing about France and Germany arguing over the bad boi made me laugh.

The teeny bear has no markings, he's really lovely in the hand, quite solid for a teeny object xxx
Got lots and lots to look at now I know what they are thanks to you xxx

@Marie Forjan I LOVE that brooch
Am always looking out for Nouveau things, tis one of my weaknesses

I am sorry to hear about your dad. He looked like he had a lot of fun having adventures-a life well-lived.

Found these five bangles in a charity shop for 99p. I think they are celluloid and are very lightweight. The two patterned ones are slightly wider than the plain red. They make a very pleasing tinkly sound and I would love to wear them but unfortunately can't get them over my hand as they are quite small (the bangles, not my hand obviously!). Not sure what age they would be - 1940s/50s possibly?

I think earlier, pre ww2. Size is a big clue.

Celluloid would be my guess too. I'd be scared to try and get into them; celluloid goes to pieces with a cross word or a dirty look.

Thank you, the more I look at them the more I think you may be right - 1930s or could they possibly even be as early as late 20s? Probably the sort of things that could have been bought in Woolworth's! As to size I do have rather broad hands so am not too surprised that I can't squeeze them on! My slender handed (and footed) friend can slip them on easily. I'm amazed that they are in such good condition and seem to be quite robust.

Did some online treasure hunting. This doll was a mess. She will never be perfect, but was cheap and cleaned up and will display well. Lumii_20230606_174836874.jpg

This doll exceeded expectations. Her head was sold with accessories and you put the head on doll bodies you had. High-color Hair Fair Barbie.

And this is a treasure. I am loving reading about how to dress distinctively in the year 1918.

I can't tell for sure but the vase looks like it could possibly be black amethyst.

Black amethyst isn't red like that. It's purple when light goes through it.
