Hey everyone. I'm hoping someone can help me with this western Germany 17 rubis cylinder desk clock I have acquired. Any info would be so appreciated
Thanks in advance. God bless it says Atlanta theme. Very top heavy. Winds. No markings. Western Germany on the bottom of the face. It always makes me dig deeper when Google lens can't help me. It is finally summer y'all!

    Hi Bonnie :)

I'm reposting a set of instructions courtesy of @Aquitaine to help you get started with uploading/posting your photos:

Each image MUST be UNDER 1 MB....
There are instructions on site here on how to reduce the size of your image, if that is the problem......you are allowed up to 10 images per post!!! Here are some links to the instructions:

Try emailing them to yourself as "medium" size, they should then be under 1 MB!

Don't worry, many people have trouble posting pictures at first. You'll get the hang of it.
Now I'm going to be nasty and ask for more photos, and the size please.

Pretty indeed. Please show us photos of the sides and back. What is your history of the background of this time piece, please?

    Welcome to Antiquers!

Welcome Bonnie. Your avatar looks like you are in the right place! is it small enough that it would have been set in a housing of some kind or large enough to hang on a wall?

Bonnie said it is a desk clock.;)
It looks like a cylindrical base with a horizontal clock face. But those can be several sizes.

Did it just lay flat? it would seem hard to read unless looking down on it.

Think of a cylindrical tea caddy with a clock in the lid.
Yes, you have to hover over it to tell the time.:playful: Design eh.:D

I believe it says, "Atlanta Cherie" with an accent mark over the first "e" and not "theme" - that's what I see.

I think that black base is at a substantial angle for desk viewing..

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I'm not sure whether Western Germany is the same thing as West Germany, but if it's the latter it would date to some time between 1949-1990.
