Featured De Curtis Brooch Vintage?

    I bought this pretty brooch at my local thrift for $2.00 u.s.d.
    Has the three rhinestones on the top, then the purple one.
    A horshoe shape with tassel dangling. I'm not sure why the one stone on the bottom is gray?
    The back reads De Curtis 1/20 12K and in the center is G f, I assume gold filled.
    Any help on dating this would be appreciated. I didn't find much on the company either.

    1940s. When those gold tubes were popular in jewelry-making.

    Good to know about the tubes. I see lots of those tubes with copper from the 40's also.
